Hi,
I´ve been on cal-look.com some years ago but got bored of all those race car topics...
The Lounge rules! Finally I´ve gotten my internet connection at home since I´ve moved to a new home 4 weeks ago so no I have the possibility to write here lots more than before when I just had the opportunity to do so during my lunch break at work. Grin
It´s really cool to see that there are lots of people around that think the same way as I do. Smiley
Bye,

I had a couple of registrations on it due to forgotten passwords and a change of forum format. I still visit it quite a bit but seldom post there, no real reason for that as such though it certainly has a different feel these days compared to the way it started out.

For what I like about VW's this place has it just about right so I tend to be here quite a lot. An added bonus is that a lot of the people I've met over the years from this side of the pond post here, it's good bumping into people between the shows!  Smiley

I post there sometimes (been reading it since the old-old forum), but now it's more the turboracecarforum than a california look forum... Roll Eyes

Use the same name as here and I've been registered there since '99, but now it seems like I don't exist.  Tired of being told I'm stupid.  Most of the people are in Socal, and really into dragracing.  Anybody remember Rick Mortenson's streetcar forum?

Ive been registered with Cal-Look com a couple of times but Matt has hut the nail on the head, with the lounge we tend to meet the people who are also online......

Over the last few years ive met so many people and have 2 main highlights which is why the lounge is my home, 1) The cal look dinner at Volksworld Show this year and 2) DDS 4, both events were superb like minded fans with the same desires......

Love the Lounge, Love the People and love the Cars !

Keep it up

I am also registered on the other forum. I REALLY missed how it "used to be" there years ago and have enjoyed some of what I have missed hear. I was glad when Jim showed back up there, I had gone into lurker mode for a long time.

Hello,

I am, same User as on this one, but for me the Lounge is the Real Cal-Look Forum...!!!

Frank

I view CLF as the large sports bar. Big with a lot of action... always something on the "Big Screens" some games I follow when they interest me and some I'm not.

The lounge is my corner pub... where I got to hang out with friends, lift a glass and relax with people who like the same stuff I do.

 Wink

I'm registered over there under Rick Meredith. I'm also Blogging progress on my '67 over there. Right now, all that's Blogged is a rehash of what I've already posted here. I will however keep you guys updated as well.
