Once again, thank you all for making my day complete. Steve, your birthday vid is THE BEST! So, I bet you'd all like to hear the story of Dick Nose (just an assumption, of course  ). It was 1981 or so and I'd been working at Scott's Porsche (next door to Becker's Bug House in Orange). There was a store near Cal State Fullerton, The Erogenous Zone, that my wife and I used to visit occasionally for greeting cards, incense , and other "odds and ends." One day while there, I spied some black frame glasses (no lenses) with a plastic "dick" for a nose (they could be made into a pig's nose by flipping off the head of the dick if you were so inclined). Well, I bought two pair and the fun started. Steve Aven worked for Scott, too and he and his wife became close friends of ours. One night, the four of us went to an Adult Toy party at a friend of theirs house..., showed up on the front porch and Steve and I had our "glasses" on. We were greeted by this older woman. She looked like she'd done it all... pushed up, sucked in, augmented to the tenth power. She saw absolutely nothing funny about our glasses... turned out she was the one hosting the party and was in charge of passing around the "toys" for the partygoers to eyeball. Well, after a few glasses of the extraordinarily alcoholic punch they were serving, things loosened up and whenever a unique toy came by, Steve and I would whip out our glasses for a closer look to much laughter from the others in the room. Ya had to be there! A couple of pics... Sharon models the glasses and Steve and I out for a cruise at the dunes |
