Les Purnell and Gene Berg (may both rest in peace), because I looked/look up to them and they both taught me so much regarding air-cooled Volkswagens. Mexican or sushi... either one works for me. |

well just last Sunday at Fabians bbq I had lunch with Dyno, Sarge, Bill S, Steph, and The caped wonder himself Carlos De Alba (although the cape didn't make an appearance) So I'm kinda spoiled. Can't ask for much more than that.

Tom Lieb and Gene Berg to learn me the ins and outs of the vw engine. Would go for some spice chili con carne then,  At the EBI2 had a conc=versation with another hero of mine which is Roger Crawford,learned a few tricks.  |

I'd like to sit down and hear some stories from Mike Mahaffey sometime too. His posts about the split get my hackles up.
