If you could have lunch with anyone from the VW hobby/industry, still living, who it would be, and why?

Les Purnell and Gene Berg (may both rest in peace), because I looked/look up to them and they both taught me so much regarding air-cooled Volkswagens. Mexican or sushi... either one works for me.

well just last Sunday at Fabians bbq I had lunch with Dyno, Sarge, Bill S, Steph, and The caped wonder himself Carlos De Alba (although the cape didn't make an appearance) So I'm kinda spoiled. Can't ask for much more than that.

kicking back with Sarge and hearing about all the headers and mufflers he put on his white car and the goings on at Montgomery Wards' parking lot has been just about all I could ask for. I'd like to sit down and hear some stories from Mike Mahaffey sometime too. His posts about the split get my hackles up.
