yesterday was a nice day like today  and i deicde to work on the 61
 i removed the empi 5 and put the original wheels on the car
future plans are to weld the empi5 (not by me) Roll Eyes

and today i remove the engine , because i will change the gearbox , i've a big noise  , like gears bearing or the conical couple ( Huh)

and after removing the engine , i've to start to clean my carburettors because i had a small fuel leak
 and what a suprise on one carbs i've the screw of the butterfly which was loosened  Shocked Shocked  , now that fixed , and on the other carbs another suprise on the butterfly one screw was missing , where is she Huh i don't know may be into the engine now  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

 after starting  of disassembling  elements of the gearbox , i removed the camber compensator , the porsches drums , because i will change those one by vw units to fit the torkers wheels
i drained the gearbox

Sweet car dude. I love the stance, the engine, everything.

You should drill your wheels or run painted 356 wheels, would be cool.

67 vw ain't 356 porsche Wink. ET is different, slots are different, not very cool if you ask me.

cool wheels but torkers will be the next wheels on the car after the OG 5 SPOKES
1st is a photoshop with the wheels and 2nd are my wheels

today i removed the gearbox of the 61 , next work will be the removing of my other gearbox from my old daily driver and change the axle, my daily was an 74 and long axle

yes it was my first bug and i don't want to sell this one  , i have some plan for this one , but not for this time maybe in several year or i will do some work by my self and after a bodyworker will do the paintjob

My first car was an 74 beetle too. It is in thousands parts, and there where many times that I want to sell it. But it is my first car, and I know there will come one day he will shine like he came out of the factory  Smiley Thumps up Fabs.

no j-f i don't have the time to work every day on the car normally tomorrow ,will remove the engine of the 74 and maybe try to removing the gearbox i hope  Wink
