Cool! What engine does it have?

Do you mind if I tell it?

86 x 94

Scat Superlight flanged crank
Jet 5.50" titanium rods
Cima pistons with B&B thin-wall wrist pins
CB Perf. CNC wedgeports flycut for 10.5:1 compression
Engle FK-10
Pauter 1.3 roller rockers
Mallory Unlite w/ vacuum
Custom 'Wed Wocket' carb linkage pushing old 48IDA's w/ 40mm vents, custom drilled for vacuum signal [they said it couldn't be done]
Berg Big-Boy 'Backwards Possible' manifolds - matchported
40 hp non-fresh fan shroud, dimple filled to look like 36, intake 'bell' spaced to allow late-model fan
I honestly don't remember which exhaust I wound up with, but it's a 1-3/4" merge from Tiger at A-1
Aluminum Kennedy Stage II pressure plate.

The rest is probably too boring.  Maybe some of this is, I don't now.

It's a rhino case Berg 5 with the following:

1st thru 5th: 3.80, 2.35, 1.58, 1.21, 0.89

R&P: 3.88 w/ ZF limited slip

I never raced the car.

>>>>But that was only the beginning:  The body was painted - twice, the front end was done 3 times, the motor was done three times, and I've had 8 different exhaust systems on the car.  Why?  Because all of it just wasn't right.<<<<

And that my friend, is why it is, what it is!

Got your e-mail BTW

I appreciate that!

I know that the rules suggest that the stickers should be removed if the car is sold to a non club member but as Im a collector and wanting to keep the car as is it shouldnt make any differance, you will never see me pretending to be a DKP car club member even if i would truly love and would be honured to be part of such a great club with great people.... alas i live 5000miles away so this is always going to be unlikly, however i can always dream......

Great car, enjoy.
What a relief to buy/own something that needs nothing.

I can see a little mushroom cloud from behind the orange curtain.
Like that one I saw when I sold my car. Wink

Yes, the one and only...

Seats are Corbeau's that were covered with the same leather in the rest of the car.

Hey Doug,

We always cut slack to old guys re-telling the same old story.  :-).... I will have to make a road trip over in the chop this winter.  I almost forgot what you look like...all domesticated now with that awesome partner Les!  Talk with you soon.

Mike, I do not 'broker' cars – brokering implies financial gain. I will give my help/advice willingly – for free – if someone finds a car.

Also, I do not 'export' cars for financial gain. I have personally imported four cars from the USA, only one of which did I sell a few months later when I realised it wasn't what I wanted (a stock '67). The first was my Studebaker in 1991, the second the chop-top in 1995-ish, the third the aforementioned '67 in about 1998 and the fourth was my own car last year. Hardly a case of 'habitually brokering and exporting'...
