After spending a lot of time together with us,Peter invited us to his lovely house to have a closer look at his racecar. He uses a datalogger to monitor engine and suspension. We also need a new and bigger one in our car for next season, and therefore Peter gave us a complete introduction on the Racepak v300 and it's functions. Smiley He is also really interested in airplanes and flying.Has already build one plane, and he planned to build one more.. Shocked

On the way out of the harbor,we almost ran over some idiots out training in a rowing boat.It was a close call.. Shocked Out on the open sea we of coarse had to enjoy a big meal with swedish meat balls. Grin

Since our trip mostly consisted of engines and big hp numbers,we just had to have a look at the engine on this boat. Cheesy First we had a look in the controll room, had to take the smallest elevator ever to get there.Because of all the terror in the world,no people where allowed to enter the machine room.
After speaking with the mechanic a few minutes,I think he understood we where kind of hp crazy, and we where really lucky to join him down and have a look.Four V16 engines with 10000 hp each where running "flat out". Grin Could not take pictures,sorry..

What a fully comprehensive road trip! Sounds like you guys has so much fun - apart from the T25 Gremlins of course! Man, that's the last thing you need when you are tired and have thousands of miles to drive!
Hopefully next year I will make a similar roadtrip to Norway! I had better start saving my pennies now Wink

Getting out of shopping in Kiel was a master stoke of genious! How did you manage to pull that off?

in my experience, it's about the people, not the number of cylinders. (sorry for hijacking this thread)

What do you think caused the bend valve? Weakend valve springs because of the ratio rockers maybe?
Please check valve spring strenght if you will and let us know how much pressure they lost (or not)..

Yes,I'll post some results, going to change guides, valves and check springs. The valve broke right off in the valve lock groove, dropped into the cylinder and got hit by the piston.
