There is no such thing as a 4 season sleeping bag out there... like there is no 4 season tires. For drag racing in the middle of the winter I would recommend the following;

1) Ajungilak sleeping bag
2) Studs in your slicks

Bakersfield reminded me of Shakey, bit dustier and if you catch the wind in the wrong direction you got an overwhelming smell of cow shit!

looking forward to F&T, i'll be the one sleeping in the car with the engine running all night Grin

If its RWYB you will be fine. If not you would need an MSA licence or get someone to Pilot. You need the correct suit correct helmet gloves shoes. Which you probably have already I don't know if you could fast track the licence. The cage is fine, window net ,spec harness. MOT or promise the inspector you will get a log book.

If you need a legal helmet and a nomex race suit I can sort you out. You might also have to join the racers club I don't know.

Good luck

TBH, I don't think there will be a meeting in October - there was a RWYB a few weeks ago, which we didn't do because lots of members were in Las Vegas, and there's another one this weekend, but it's really too close to the Flame and Thunder which is the offical season closer.
