Hi Guys What is The Longest Trip You Have Ever Flat Towed Your VW  (ON A VW TOW BAR)?   Well I Know I Had A Long Trip I Just Towed My 67 Bug From Ventura Calif To Dallas Texas  1,593 Miles half the Time I Did not remember it was even back there LOL  everytime I looked in My Rear veiw Mirror There was the Damm Ruby Red 67 Sedan Tailgating me I thought it was going to slow down my trip but I Drove Straight Threw 27 hours at an Average Speed of 70 to 75 even passed a 63 Ragtop also being Flat Towed

In Europe there illegal, but towed it to Bitburg nonetheless this year!
On the way back the police stopped me, but I was lucky and could drive home withe the 67 Grin

Has to be Uk to Bitburg dont know how many miles that is but has done it two year in a row now. Also will be doing UK to Bug In next year and then back out for Bitburg too. Have had two or three police cars drive past and did not stop so i must have been lucky to. Grin

Well i went from Aberdeen in Scotland to Bitberg in Germany, passing England and through Belgum to get there, however 1 also returned making this around 1300 miles..........but i was towing with a 63 split pannel van with a 1600cc aircooled !!!!!!!!

have to be Gardermoen,norway this year,left work wednesday evening and arrived at the track on friday afternoon,closely followed by spa & bitburg in 2005,both real good trips though,cheers richie,uk
