Best window regulators for one-piece windows?

Hey guys, the driver side window regulator has finally quit working and now all it does is skip.

It looks to be a stock unit (1969) with one piece windows, and before I buy another stock replacement I wanted to know if any other (early or late) regulators are better for one piece windows (weight?) or longer lasting. I was considering electric windows; but the purist in me is giving my modern side a middle finger.

Thoughts, help?

64-68 dual lifters are the best for one piece windows, you'll need the appropriate lifter channels too
