I have some issues with an engine I got with a car a while back. Got the car from California and it was running great down there, but I get it home to Oregon and was having issues.  First issue was I clogged idle jet then got everything together and now something new.

Now when I idles with no load and you rev it sounds fine revs fine, but on the street it bogs down. First gear is not too bad but if falls flat on its face when you go more than 1/4 throttle with load. The carbs both pull the same amount on the snail gauge at idle/linkage is good also. I put new wires on thinking it was an ignition issue. What should I look for?

69x94
42x35 Cb heads
40mm HPMX 60 idles; 180 air, 140 mains, 32 vents, floats @10mm
009

Thanks

Pulled the easy ones and they looks fine. I am going to pull the back 2 and check when I have some more time, but they are all new.

Looks rich to me.
I would have started with a 50 idle, 130 main, and a 200 air.

sounds like fuel starvation?although i agree your jets are rich

with one blocked jet, there may be a few, starving you of fuel

I got jets on the way from Art at ACE.

I got some 50 idles and 55's and some 130 mains.

I might be getting a drip on the squirtes on one side so I got the seals for the squirters also.

i know Bruce is probally right about the jetting, but i run 135 main and 175 air and 55 idle with 32 vents in 40 IDF's on a 1776 without issues.
have you taken off the carbs? maybe an airleak or so?
