I think you could use a 125 / 130 / 140 because your buggy is lighter then a sedan.  Do the Berg shafts like Shubee says and some stock rockers like Jim recommended.  I like OEM 911 Porsche valve screws (the underside of the rocker has to be clearanced a bit on a bench grinder for the swivel to move fully).  I had a look in Berg's old Technical Article book and here's what he had to say about 1.25:1 rockers on cams designed for 1.1:1 for what it's worth....

this is what the book say about IDA use on the road.

There is lot's of interesting info how about they built engines back in the days. Check the last scan with the Don Burn drag setup.

It's sick to think of such a thing, but I can't say that I'm not guilty of it. Embarrassed But it matters not to me as I bearly have a pot to piss in right now! He had a ton of cool parts, it would be good to see the sale and proceeds go to his family at least.

The cam seems to be something as a w120. And it runs 14sec  Shocked That should be a nice engine.

Very cool seeing those scanned articles. Interesting hp figures qouted though...  185 hp on a 40 mm Weber with 32mm vents? And over 200 hp on a 39mm inlet valve! Those were the days! Smiley

well it looks like Gary H has an original Engle 130 (with lifters + cam gear) for me, he thought it would probably be best for a "Street motor"   Grin
