My route is not always the easy route.
Vwrankenstein's notch will be made of original sheet metal. Even to close the gab, of the shortened firewall, i am using modified original sheet metal. I hope that when it's finished this will give an original look.

Started on the cage part in the sparewheel area. First I made it with plastic pipes.



Then copied it from steel.


Attached to the cage inside.


One down, one to go.

Thanks guys. Never done this kind of work before but it came out good.

Bended the 2nd pipe. just a little fitting and it is ready. one pipe to go before the welding can start.

Don't know about the fuel tank yet. I am using a simple hand (hydraulic) pump.
