There is now way back now , tonight I started to fit the 944 alu arms. the plan is to make it exactly as wide as a standard oval. It is just a mock up and i still have to do some small changes, but you get the idea.

This morning it was oval time again. Took out the IRS assembly points again, the where tacked to drive circles only I made them fit with a jig on the original IRS place. Then made a slide-jig, this way I could slide them into place without messing with the angle. In total I slided 16cm, this way I have an original oval width. After mounting the alu arms I was wondering how it all whould fit (since I dont want to cut the body). The Tiki leftovers came in hand.

porsche 914 gearbox, kabelshift, .......
Paul.
I was wondering what you are going to do with that. Rear suspension looks good already. Uniball also. Welding done by you guys (tiki and you) looks so easy, but when I try something at home it is not going the way I want it to be. Maybe I have to try more and harder.. Kind regards Edgar

Kind regards Edgar Hi Edgar, Tiki and I do the welding ourselves, I worked some time as a welder and as a truck repair man I did al lot of welding as well. That is why it looks easy and most of the time for me it is easy. Paul.

This morning I started working on the crispy left corner, the rightside of the pan has the same (little) problem. Also cut off the shoktower, with the narrowing it did not fit under the innerwings. After all that was done I went and have a look in my storrage place, the last time I was there was 3 years ago. And look what I found it's a dogleg (is that for good luck ) Paul.

Wouldn't it be Better to run a Double Uniball setup more like a 4 link? to me at seams like there would be a great amount of Torque and twist on a Hard Burn out off the Line? the uniball only looks to be about the size of a 10mm bolt? I would think it would snap under a Load

These are special suspension uniballs (57 Euro each), the bolds are 14mm and will be replaced by 14mm 12.9 bolds. I think they will hold, but thank you for thinking with me Paul.
