Finished the brackets to mount the coilovers under an angle, placed new uniballs in the coilovers and test fitted it again. Looks mean

I know what you mean about them working on the angle as Ive had issues with this before , but Ive seen them used on race cars and hot rods at angles around 45 degrees so why not . Doe's look mean as hell

Super thread! And inspired work! Have you checked what the angle will be with full compression on the rear suspension...?

Mechanical emergency brakes.........how needs them Just a little weight saving [ Attachment: You are not allowed to view attachments ] While the Porsche front is narrowed 2,5" I had to modify the stabiliser as well. I just gave it a try, and to my surprise it worked very well. [ Attachment: You are not allowed to view attachments ] [ Attachment: You are not allowed to view attachments ] Paul.

Finlay I received my stainless brake (hard) line. Time to sort out where to mount things. I placed gear shift again, took place at the driver seat and try-ed to reach the gearstick and emergency brake. while the front and rear main brakecylinders are both 1", I also needed a brakepress. reduce valve. In the pictures the reduce valve is mounted against the emergency brake bracket. [ Attachment: You are not allowed to view attachments ] [ Attachment: You are not allowed to view attachments ] [ Attachment: You are not allowed to view attachments ] A lot of words to say that i did not do that much Paul.

After I was tyred trying to make the (home made) gearbox mount to fit. I ordered a new one, modified it to my standard and ideas, welded the adjusters and mounted it. [ Attachment: You are not allowed to view attachments ] [ Attachment: You are not allowed to view attachments ] Paul.

As shown in earlyer pictures, the emergency brake had to move backwards. to mount this brake I needed a piece of flat steel. So I lengthened the small flat piece from the original mount. [ Attachment: You are not allowed to view attachments ] [ Attachment: You are not allowed to view attachments ]
And here it is with the brake on it. [ Attachment: You are not allowed to view attachments ] [ Attachment: You are not allowed to view attachments ]

The gearbox adjusters take care of the up/down forces, but with the missing forks it also need someting to take care of the length forces. Cos I can adjust the height, these new length rods had to be able to turn and adjust. [ Attachment: You are not allowed to view attachments ] [ Attachment: You are not allowed to view attachments ]

I had second thoughts about the uniballs I used, so I ordered bigger/stronger uniballs. [ Attachment: You are not allowed to view attachments ] [ Attachment: You are not allowed to view attachments ] M18 (18mm) Static strength (Co kN) 81,5 dynamic strength (Co kN) 64,0
