Just my luck 🤬

While checking the heads of my engine, I discovered that One of the heads has smaller push rod tube openings.

It seems that the tubes I need are not sold new and are rare to find 😞

Good to see its still progressing Cool   To give some advice on nitrous use the complete engine spec would be needed?

cheers Richie

Hi Richie,

This will be a 71*104 engine (2,4ltr)
Original length H-beam rods.
41mm inlet and 33mm exhaust valve.
Schleicher 324 cam.
10:1 compression (i think)

do I need to change the CR or something else to use a small shot of NOS?

Hi Richie,

I am building this engine therefor I can do all the needed mods. the Schleicher 324 cam runs good with 10:1 compression, so I taught this is good but for NOS maybe it needs a bit lower.
I Will be driving this on the street on pumpgas 95 or 98 octane. and occasionally will use a small shot of NOS.

Thanks.

Should be no problem with that compression still if you stay under 50hp of nitrous with small retard on ignition Shocked Cool
