Frank i havn't copied your Oberg I have a Oberg Heavy Duty 600, and its HUGE!

by the way does anybody have a wiring diagram for the sender on this unit, and what type of sender is it?

No Problem Lids....

The wiring is quite simple and the sender is the same than the reverse Gear Sender from a VW Tranny...

is that a Mallory unilite module in that Treuhaft dissy? It´s the same conversion I´m planning to do and I´ve already received the module for my Treuhaft 010, but I wonder how to modify the ignition rotor as the Mallory unit is way larger than the Treuhaft unit. Do you simply shorten the brass part of it...? Huh

This is a description that is found in one of my old catologs.

 "The Treuhaft 010 distributor was developed as a direct replacement for the Bosch 010, which became unavailable. The performance characteristics of the Treuhaft 010 are equivalent to the Bosch with the exception of the camshaft dwell angle, which was improved to extend the life of the coil.
This improvement also reduces point float for greater and more consistent accuracy. Proven in offroad, roadrace, and dragrace competition."


The conversion I used is a Mallory E-spark conversion part # 61009M the conversion kit cost about 65.00 US$ thru www.summitracing.com. Also check out www.malloryperformance.com for more info on the kit. There is also a unilite conversion sold by mallory, which hits the pocket 4 times higher in cost than the E-spark.
The kit is fairly straight forward to install, the hardest part is, pulling off the point cam off of the dist shaft to make room for the new style rotor.

The coil is a standard Bosch Blue. The advantages to the E-Spark is you lose the points and condensor and you get a hotter spark. Not to mention new points and condensors are apparently getting very hard to find Sad
