In case you haven't heard, DKP is organizing its 4th "Santa's Lil' Helper" Driving Cruise next weekend. Here is the info: COMING SUNDAY, DECEMBER 7th:
DKP's 4th Santa's Lil' Helper Driving Cruise
Fullerton, CA. Der Kleiner Panzers VW club invites you to a 20+-mile driving cruise through the streets of Orange County. The drive will start and finish at Nick's Burgers in Fullerton (1712 W. Orangethorpe Ave.). Please meet at 3:30 p.m.; driving cruise will roll at 4:00 p.m. sharp. All streetable VWs welcome. This is a free event, but please bring an unwrapped toy to be donated to a charity. For more information, visit www.DKPcarclub.com. If you're in town next weekend, we hope to see you there! |

 I went last year to Nicks and it was awesome. Of course it was the Classic and not the DKP Santa's Lil'l Helper Cruise. Although, I would go if I was just a little closer. Sounds like a great time and a worthy cause Stephan. Everyone have a safe and fun time. Patrick |

I'm working on getting Rick Mortensen to come with me to the event. We would drive our cars from Phoenix to the event and head home Sunday night. Hopefully we can work out the details and make it!

I hear ya, Sarge... yesterday was stellar weather and provided a great backdrop for the photo work that I was assigned to work on, all day. Today, however, not-so-much. Hope it stays dry. I've never had my '67 in the rain yet. D'OH.

Thanks DKP for putting on another great cruise. Lots of toys were given - which was awesome to see - a lot of kids will have smiles on their faces! Mike & I had a really great time!
