Some Fuchs is nice, and a homemade boss for the "Opel" steering wheel.

That wheel looks like it came out of a Dasher. This is what you will need to go with the rootbeer brown metallic paint and your gold anodized centerlines.

Newbie.

Moving forward, that wheel was offered at VW dealerships as an option. I've always wanted to build a '68+ Cal Looker with that wheel. Very fitting for cars from that era.

Newbie? Are you serious? At 44 years old I don`t feel like a newbie. I know what that wheel was intended for but I still think its ugly.

Grab a gear and downshift, Bryan... just messin' w/ya. Tit for tat... you said Dasher, and I say it's a super cool wheel. Hard to locate, too. But, to each their own.

Lids, as much as I don't care for green interiors, that pattern would look epic on a green Cal Looker. Like Joe "Skeeter" Larson's '66 in D.K.K.

I agree! Which is why I bought it :-D

And to add to this list the most important part:

THE OWNER! Most important ingrediant for a good cal look'er is the owner having the right attitude :-D
