At EBI#2 went I spook to Dave, he tool me he want repaint his Car ... But, that's maybe a fake from him ( I don't think soo ).  |

I do hope so.... this classic cal look VW needs a new top coat and great choice for the place to paint it. Richie, let Dave know that ill do the deal now its going to be painted...... if not let me at it a Bug in or Classic  |

I think the one in that shot is the 'fake' one, it often gets confused with the one from way back. It was actually the replica one that was photographed parked up next to Schwimmers car and a couple of others on that magazine cover a few years back and obvioously this has only added to the confusion. I heard the original is now blue?  |

Is Dave's Bug Too still about or did that get shipped to Europe along with the old DRF club house?  Out of interest does anyone have a scan handy of the 'replica' on the magazine cover next to Bill's car and a couple of others back in the early 90s? It's a cool shot. |

Looks like Dave's BRM's are going to have a bit more "patina".... The wheels have gone away for chroming, he got too lazy to polish them so it seemed the easiest thing to do  Its a DRF club thing Only joking,well maybe!! cheers richie |
