OK Jeff, you win! What's the story behind the photo?  Grin

We won't go there, but lets say it was toward the end of a series of "youthful indiscretions" including a DKK party at my house in La Mirada that didn't end well. I'm still looking to find out who invited the LA County Sheriff's and their helicopters!

Well my name is quite self explanitory I thought! I used to use the forum name Neil H.A.B. on the original CLF, but after the Half A Brain club folded I started using my full name instead. Smiley

Oh, you guys are serious! Vasteras is to VWs what Chicago was to gangsters! I remember my visit to you guys with Jonas Uhland back in 1996 – if a car sat still for more than three minutes, it had a turbo bolted to it. Cheesy

There are no es's on the end so there is just one of each, other wise I would also have 56 bugs, 63 ghia's, 67 nova wagons and 69 el camino's.  But to answer your question, yes, I have been busy.

Scott,
did you ever sell your bug?  give me a call.

Andreas Nordin-Johansson
36 yrs
3 kids
1 wife
no mistress...

Formerly Stockholm, Sweden -since a few months back living in Kalmar, Sweden

Somewhat of a late bloomer when it comes to ACVWs and anything Cal Look related, bought my first bug a restored 1962 "resto-looker-of-sorts" with raw BRMs, OPW, lowered stance etc, at the age of 30 (!) as a present to myself and I was hooked - sold it a few years after to carry on with a project on my own - been a car nut since the day I was born spending all my allowances on Matchless, Hot Wheels and Corgi toys - and I'm passing on that tradition to my kids  Grin

Before opening the door to Cal Look heaven I used to tinker with Austin Minis and I'm a huge fan of cars from the -50-60s... I Still own a 1968 Austin Mini 1275cc dual carb

In between working as a Finance Mngr shuffling figures in MS Excel and being a care taking father and loving husband, what little time left I'm trying to put together my gulfblue 1962 ragtop with some sort of Cal Look influences - any year now... Embarrassed

A regular reader of HotVWs, UltraVW and VolksWorld and also TheLounge forum of course! Wink

Cheers,
