Keith, that picture is just fabulous. How come it didn't make into the book? I MUST paint my wheels as such for the next gala.

Nice pics. They give me some motivation...
Dustin, what's the color and year of your car?
When I first saw the pics, I believe seen my own one  Cheesy
It is a slight variation of the original '69 Savanna beige. Those pics didn't really show the color well.

My friend, who owned the car when we did the original restoral, didn't like the green tint of the original color but you can hardly see the difference when looking at the original paint in the engine compartment.

Here is another pic but in person it is appears slightly darker.

Mine is a 68, chinchilla grey, but not sure. It has been repainted ,excepted the roof, and I don't know if it is the exact color. When I have it repainted, we scan the fuel trap to find the color.

Wow!! They look like clones... I'm jealous of the lowback seats though! Embarrassed What year are the bumpers? I like the rubber on them.

Dustin, those would be two really cool additions to your car... lowbacks and add the bumper rubber with either chrome or painted bumpers. I dig your car, already. But good to hear that you're considering that stuff.

Yeah, As I said before, When we originally did the restore, it was to stock specs. Had I known I was going to own the car two months after it was finished, I definitely would have done things differently. All future mods must comply with spouses home improvement plans  Sad

I can relate on both counts... I did the same thing. I wanted a factory looking car so I made sure that was done, first. And I was married so I remember the comply protocol, as well.

Speaking of winter... wish this wet stuff would stop fallin' from the sky. I really wanted to take my '67 out, today. Oh well. Just went out and had some fun in my Bimmer. Four wheel drifts in corners are fun. Especially when my girlfriend's screaming. HAHA!! It's funny, 'cause my sons actually love it. They were raised taking corners fast in anything with wheels. My girlfriend... not-so-much.

Seats are stocks and originals and bumpers are repops as the rubbers. I don't know if rubbers are the right year for the car, but I love the finished touch it gives.
