i've never dated berg handles, for some reason i have always stuck with chicks!  Perhaps I'm a little narrow minded.

Has anybody else dated berg handles, i think he might be Scandinavian?

Taken from that thread:

... The shifter was NOS and the button is gold anodised ...

Though I like the way the Berg shifter works I've never really liked the way they look but that version is an exception, to me that looks absolutely right.  Cool

I will never forget one of my dumbest mistakes as a young teenage kid... my first Bug came with a Berg shifter, a 40 percent version... It had a nasty tendency to slip into reverse when going to second gear, and I think it was simply because I didn't have it adjusted or lubed right.  I chucked it in the trash when I got a Scat Drag Fast for Christmas one year.  Either it became recycled into a series of who knows what kind of metal goods or some VW  nut at the dump had a very good day... Embarrassed

I wonder of these will ever become desirable??? I like it, its different. I've heard guys complain cuz their leg rides against the T handle and its uncomfortable. Maybe this is their fix.
Berg apparently just made a run of these in polished and black powder coated... I just bought one! Grin

The Ball handle shifter is really nice to use and quite substancial feels well engineered and tough. Whe have a few Polished LHD ones in stock.
