hi guys,
i still havent posted any pics of my car, so i thaught i could give it a try.. Smiley
its a 64 swedish import, that i got since 2002..
its looks kinda shabby (some football supporters thaught it would be cool to run over my car, with a wavy roof as a result; another guy that ran into me etc..), but i m looking it at the bright side and think this might be an element of surprise for the honda friends Smiley
do you guys what kind of steering wheel i have? i bought it in budel this year; hornbutton is with a wolfsburg logo and on one of the spokes i can read "italy"
i also have 2 autometer gauges, but i m in a dilemma: place them on the left side of my steering column or under the glovebox..
what do you think?
for wheels i d like to have erco's at the back
engine is a type 4 with upright cooling and megasquirted;, but i will hopefully soon throw it out and make place for a nice 2276 Grin

when i start building it i ll post some pics of the buildup

cheers, Peter

hey peter, welcome to the lounge.

That's one though ride you've got,
Keep us posted about that 2276cc engine you're building , those wedge ports heads sound promising, cant wait to see it finished.

Nice car - looks hard!
I`d fit the gauges in the l/h speaker grill, only MHO though!

Hey cool you are running a typ 4 engine with upright cooling....what is it a 1.7/1.8 or 2.0 engine?
I am currently building 2.0 typ4 with upright cooling for in my looker...
But why do you want to throw yours out?

Kind regards Edgar

hi edgar,
i m just another victim of the cal look doctrine and just need a type one Smiley
another reason to go to type one again is because there is so much more' literature about type 1's, more choice of parts, and much more people that made good combos;
i want to build something that goes hard, but no exotic combo and fairly common

cheers, Peter
