Im liking this, What you running atm then?

Only a 1600 with twin 40 DRLA's. It's quite torquey and has been super reliable for 5 years. It's needed nothing but services. But I do get left behind! Grin

I built it from a £600 wreck in 1994, used it until about 99/2000 as a daily driver, then totally stripped it and built it into what you sort of have today. I still have a ton of history for the car inc a full photo rebuild album aswell as all the trophies i won with it inc a nice `best of show` one from bug jam 2003. Its changed a bit since i sold it though after its crash and all that!! I should not have sold it really, i used to enjoy the odd spin in it with slicks and it had alot of sentimental value to me . Lyndon.

yep that the same car, i think it was him i sold them to. They now are on a blue 63 ragtop, people take the piss out of him by calling him Lyndon!!  That pic was taken at bug jam.

  i have to say its an amazing car that you built. its a tribute to your ability and you shuold be proud. its the nicest car i have driven and owned. if you have any picks of the build i could look at it would be much apreciated.

i remember seeing it about 5 or 6 years ago at volksworld when it was on the stand!, it blew me away!! especially when your 13/14!
i loved the interior in it,no headlining clips, red diamond stitch headliner (which i've done to my 65), old skool simpson harnesses!!!
