You know the Black/polished look...  and is it a VW thing or a Porsche thing? Huh

Definitely a VW thing,  the Porsche crowd did'nt have anything to do with these until the VW guys started paying too much for them amongst themselves. As for detailing them , the 1st set I ever saw was from a guy named Mike Kukar (?) from DKB in Huntington Beach. This was about 84 or 85. A friend of ours named Ben Peche had some in the late 80's & then Henry O had his in the early 90's. It took a little bit after that for them to go from $150 a set to $2000 a set. They seem to have come down a bit lately. Cool wheels  always .   Bill

Looks OK with the Gasburners but no comparison over the alloys (Fuchs).

O? That's a short surname, still I guess that's better than having one of those names no one can spell!  Cheesy

What are some other ways gas burners have been detailed? I have a set of repos for my car but I don't think there is enough contrast between a mostly black wheel and a black car. I have seen them fully chromed but that is a little too bling for my tastes. Any other options?

That last pic is cool; the white really pops. The lack of engine seal and channel looks good.
