Hi there i'm new to this forum, i just thought i'd say hello and show you a pic of my car, also my friend simons car, mines the L369 '63 his is the black '59 Cheesy










The 59 is far more superior to mine, hopefully not for too long, he has a 1776 with a 120 cam a twin 40 dells, i am just about to put my new motor in with this spec Smiley

8 dowel crank and flywheel
Scat 3/8 I beams with ARP bolts
C45 camshaft
90.5 P and Bs
heads 40X37 mild port with twin springs
Compression 10.0:1
Scat 1.25 rockers
1.5 exhaust
009 dizzy
Blue coil
40 webers with 32 venturis

which should be good fun Cheesy (compared to the weedy 1200 i'm used to)

In the picture you can just make out the nose of the black 59 from Big Bang this year.

Got a few things planned but nothing major, mainly a tidy up and go thru the back end to try make most of the motor.
Got a pair of AVO coilovers on there now so dropped down for cruising about but can raise up to stock height and stiffen up if i fancy a bit play on the strip Grin
Getting loads of wheel hop now though so looking to tie in shock towers/frame horns and put a mid mount for good measure.
 You got any more planned for yours?

Get the engine in and running well, i just got a berg traction bar, i needd to put in my gearbox and uprate the mountings etc. Also i just bought 2 new rear bumper hangers that need welding on, it's the full panel too, all of the firewall sides Roll Eyes, gotta get some new side trays too.

So yea, got loads to do  Smiley
