My SAW axles has links threads (both sides!!) - anyone who got nuts with links threads laying around - mine are a little bit worn out...

Dont ask me why i got two links - but i guess they changed/broke one axle in the earlier days - and it has worked over and over and over in a heavy Ghia so dont see any reason to change them...

What's a "Links" thread?

German for "left" - rechts is for right IIRC!

However, I thought both sides were right hand thread? Only front spindles are handed threads?

About 10 years ago Sway-A-Way sent out a bunch of axles that had left hand threads on one axle and right hand threads on the other one. They realized their mistake and sent out left hand threaded axle nuts to avoid recalling thousands of axles. I would contact Sway-A-Way and see if they have any left hand thread axle nuts.
