Hey Tom,

That is one great looking Notch!!!  I could see the Type N reflectors in the back and the Type N door panels but did you add the side trim/chrome???

Thanks Carlos!

The car came over to the U.K. from Australia in 2007, i'm not an expert on the subtle differences but I would say this is why it has the trim and other specific parts to it...

More info and pics on the car here:  http://www.volkszone.com/VZi/showthread.php?t=474643

i think it had the trim on the N model as well in 65. the side parkinglights were on the S model so the front fender trim is a bit shorter to make room for that.

hope i am correct about this, but i think i am.

There are a few exceptions when it comes down to the Type N.  Personally, I have never seen trim on a Type N.  It would be interesting to find out more about your car dude.....  I have a 64 Type N without any trim (except the rocker trim) from factory........!!!  Let me know if I could be of any help since I have been involved in Notchbacks for a long time!!! Bottom line......that is one clean car!!!

Hey Nicolas........I'll send you a PM  Kiss

Maybe it isn't an N? I presumed it was because it isn't an 'S'. I thought it was one or the other to be honest with you....

As I say, I'm really not up on the specifics as far as type 3's go but i'm fairly sure any anomolies in spec are due to its Australian heritage - I know for sure that the Birch green colour and interior trim are for a start...

If I can help you with any pictures or details that you'd like me to look at don't hesitate to PM me. Smiley

You can appreciate these are difficult times and I don't think it is appropriate to get about 20 non work related emails a day, especially when some have swear words in them.
