I've read something about guys which 'loctite' their CB lightweight lifters. What does this mean? I have a set of those lifters and some of them rattle when you shake them.

Can someone explain what to do?

you need to degrease the lifters perfectly and put just a drop of loctite 290 formula on the snap-ring in each lifter.

Before you make this, remove the snap-rings with needle pliers and inspect them for production burrs so they can sit perfectly in their respective grooves in lifter´s body.
