See the Speedster Replica on the left of the manx...
it was built by "Le Petit Ben" based on an Apal Replica that I found in Brussels.... great car, with a superb paintjob....

I saw that car today... it's now owner painted it flat black........ uggghhhhh.....

The white 67 sunroof belonged to Phil (the deaf guy who owns the green oval on Raders now).
I first met him at a VW meeting in Drogenbos in 93. I loved that car! We discussed for quite a while there, and he invited me to the weekly meet at the burger joint in Waterloo. And I'm still going today  Grin

after the 2.3L , emerson put a 48 ida 3.1L corvair engine , with an home made exhaust , the tone which went out of this engine was really terrible, there was no other engine which could imitate this tone

awesome engine

here's another fastback  this one was owned by gilles , the car was sitting on a rare set of american racing lemans  pictures was took at vw mania in 97

 Gilles isn't member any more of the club (finally I suppose), but he has just redone a very beautiful orange  NSU TT  with gaz burner
