I have heard a rumor that you can also fit 356C disc brakes on a Beetle Front AND rear - I think the Ex Goss, Ex Fastbrit, Richie Choptop has them on the front  Undecided

Is anyone else running them  Huh

Has anyone got anything on this COOL old skool conversion  Smiley

They fit up front, just like a 356 drum. I think the rears require you to use the Porsche axle tubes as well??

The Porsche Alxe Tubes do not have Shock Mounts like the VW so it is either use the VW and make a claiper bracket or make a shock mount on the porsche ones,  the fronts only fit Link Pin front ends

lee i saw mike from das yesterday at the freddy files
the first i do was looking after the disc brake , and  i was suprise to see that mike removed those one
i ask him about the mods to do

no modification on the front they fit directly , but for the rear  you will pick up the swing axle and the swing axle tube from the porsche , and mike said that he has of make manufacture the swing axle at the level where the bearings comes ,  because that  didn't go correctly into its housing

and he said that the brakes don't give a good result with a big engine , that's why he removed those one
