I think I am about to disappear up my own backside soon...... doing the final 'sweep' of weight-saving holes and trimming before paint, and I was wondering whether the front trans mount serves any purpose?
The trans is a T1 with an MSE nosecone, mounted on RLR raised mounts (solid). This being the case, does the nosecone mount do much? I did adapt a front mount a while ago so that i could bolt it in, but I am not sure it serves much purpose anymore, given how close it is to the mid-mount.
What is usual practice here on a racecar? I have my grinder in hand and I am ready to go!
cheers,
J.
