Measuring the valvespring install presure i am going to work whith a single spring set up i notice that there was a lot off tension on the aftermarket valve springs  for me they are way overdone so if you replace youre springs check them properly before install.

Nice work indeed, but why do you use a distributor for an 8 cilinder engine?

It has been modified to work as a 4 cilinder distributor. ;)I am using the same as Henri.

Awesome project, nice to see a diifferent approach on the engine front. Will you be retaining the liquid cooling system or with it being a racer just running no cooling? I noticed you blanked off the connections on the case to the cooling system but ran hoses to them...

Love the kiddy-bike burnout! Cheesy

Henri.
One of the big reasons for running dual (or triple) springs is that they are designed to cut out the harmonics found in a single spring which can lead to valve float at high rpm. It is, in my opinion, unlikely that you will be able to sustain high rpm using just a single valve spring set-up. It is not just a question of valve spring pressure...

So i was working on the transmission and build it in the car again .
i also worked on the engine to get it finished for bitburg .
i step to a turbo draw trouhg set up while the supercharger setup still under construction is
i quit like this kind of turbo set ups the are the american way .
i saw mr webbs old engine on ebi with the same set up and i was impressed of its performance
so theres not so much differend in an efi or carb setup if it is propperly tuned so i hope myn runs well on the carter carb.
