I'll list a few odd parts, you come up with the rest of the stuff needed to build a car...  this oughta get some ideas going.

2) 4.5" 911S alloys
1) Engle K8
1) set 92mm Mahle pistons (only)
1) FI engine case, stock
1) 1966 pan
1) Super beetle mainshaft
1) set NOS carpet for 1964 Type 1 sedan

Actually, I have been thinking of doing a STF buggy lately with some of the parts I wont use from the now dead '67 and the '66 I just drug home. . I would ditch the k8 and 92s for a 1500/1600 SP/DP with home brew heads, stock non-CW crank, stock rods, reground cam. Holley Bugspray. Stock SA trans. Sell the 4.5s for the rest of the stuff you need and use the slotted steel rims from the '66. (along with the pan) No hubcaps, drum brakes & truck tires. Fiberglass buckets. Paint it up orange with white stripes like speed buggy. I happen to know where a Manx shell is sitting that would be perfect.

Let see..... I think would build an EMPI sportster. I would use the 4.5 inch alloys on the front (obviously) and some deep 6's on rear. Lowered a little in front, srock height at the rear . For the engine, I would get an 82 mm crank and some ported 44 x 37 heads to make for a nice old school 2180cc powerplant. I would top it off with some 42 DCNF's on deano manifolds  ,an 010 and a fortuned header with a stinger. For the transmission, I would use that superbeetle mainshaft in conjunction with a '71/'72 dual side plate IRS case along with a super diff, 4:12 R&P and 1.48/1.04 gears. I would paint it Java green. I would trade the carpet for an early berg shifter. Other details would include an EMPI Gt woodrim wheel, a pair of those plastic bucket seats and a '68 bug speedo with the fuel gauge in it. I guess that's about it.

Sell the carpet set. Shorten the pan. Build a 2180cc Manx on alloys. Easy. Wink

1970 swingaxle pan
1966 5-stud balljoint beam
1972 swingaxle gearbox
Wide 5 drums machined for long axles
Super-diff
Flat Four BRMs w/ 145 XZX's and 205/65 Dunlops
2007cc Berg motor with 48's and magneto
Hmm... Wink
