Hey, just out of curiosity here but have you had the wheels satin coated or anything after you had them blasted??

I'm only asking as I've just had my torqers blasted and was wondering if I could have them painted a greyish colour so they A) have a protective coating and B) so they look like the ones that Bernie used to have on his oval.  Not sure what to do?

Oh the wheels I have are also the first prototype set that were made when Jon Abbott had them done Wink

butterskotch  i do this treatment on my wheels to have  a similar look of the original torq trust , maybe the magnesium are more darker , mine will look  more aluminium one
if i will have a torquer spare wheels , i will try to paint htis one more darker to see what they look

Cheers Speedwell, I thought thats what you did. I'm still a little undecided on what to do with mine, think I'll have to have a word with my friend whos a painter to see what type of results he think would be possible  Wink.  I'll post pics when I get it sorted as well as pics of the car soon as its due to go for paint any time now.  Mmm, butternut...

i've an AS 41 case ,old berg linkage , 48 IDA , now It remains more than to collect the other stuff, to build an cal look engine  Grin Grin
