 Hi guys,

Does any of you know whether it's possible to use 4,5" 4-lug Ansens with orig. VW disc-brakes in front?

 Thanks...

I really like Ansens jordy, nice choice. Was an alternative for me, have you found the wheels yet? I've seen an ad 2  months ago in case you're interested, i know the guy.

I think i have read that it might give difficulties, but perhaps anyone knows for sure?

On the other hand, i've never seen 4.5 Ansens, thought they were 5 or 5.5...

It's the ad from markplaats.nl , but I already have my Fat Lip Riviera's..
I was just looking for rims which can be used with disc brakes...
Since disk-brakes are a "must" with a more powerful engine...

 Did he also have disc-brakes?

btw. I like em better when they're dull instead of completely polished.

Yes, discs on the front and type 3 brakes in the rear.  Soon to have 4 wheel discs and 5.5" and deep 6 fuchs.

Yes, they cleared the brakes just fine. And I have to say polished is the only way to go!

Fortunately we differ in opinion. Otherwise we'd all drive the same cars... Wink

I'm not such a fan of *bling bling*... I don't like fully polished Fuchs or EMPIs either...
Plus I'm not a star when it comes to taking care of the 'shine'. Can't even take proper care of myself... lol..  Grin

No not yet...  But I think they're quite nice...
And if they're suitable for use with disc-brakes, it would be a nice follow-up for the fat lip Formula Vee rims..
I don't think I'm gonna sell the FVee rims since they're quite a rare sight on this side of the Atlantic...

But when I'm gonna use disc brakes I'll have to...
That's gonna take a while though cause things are moving slowly...
