I'm posting this for some friends, who are organising what's going to be the largest VW show in Spain ever, there will be quarter mile racing with professional timing (thats being taken care of by the same guys that did the timing in EBI2 I'm told), and of course there's going to be swap meet, show & shine, live music, camping facilities, etc.

it will take place in the town of Alcañiz, where there's huge racing complex with different circuits and so on, you can see all the info in their website www.bugspain.com

now I'm trying to convince them to make a separate spot for cal lookers  Grin

BugSpain is here!

A new aircooled vdub show is born, and with it a new way of celebrating the “Aircooled” way of life in Spain.

The event which every aircooled enthusiast in Spain has been asking for is no longer a dream, and will become reality in Alcañiz, a small town in the Teruel region which is waiting for a convoy of Beetles, Buggies, Buses and all kinds of aircooled Vdubs to descend upon its purpose built motorsport facility, “Motorland Aragon”

Bugspain is open to all Aircooled enthusiasts, from home and abroad; so come along and join in the fun for a 3 day VDub fiesta thats not to be missed.

NICE!!! To you lucky people that are attending this event... please post up some pictures for us unlucky slobs that aren't fortunate enough to make it to España. One of my top three favorite European countries to visit for decades. Germany and Italy being the other two. There should be some excellent weather for this, as well. Basically full-on So Cal climate. EXCELLENT food, too.

Mark is actually the owner of a town in Europe. You're only allowed to drive orange vehicles there.

HAHA!! Not an owner... just a poor American that's been wanting to go to Europe since childhood.

Funny, but half the Europeans want to go to America, so why don't we just swap countries? Just make sure you take John and Carlos with you – don't want any nasty surprises when we unlock the door... Grin

I would've never thought to have visited there, Roland. But after meeting and talking with a few Belgians from The Lounge... I have to agree. Plus, the home of one of my all-time favorite biers. (coughCHIMAYcough) Pardonnez-moi.
