As it says, next on the list is the Lee Leighton Red Car, one of my all time fav race cars, so clean and simple.

Heres some Pics of how it should be;

Is this going to be a re-make or the original?

I believe original. The car went through some "updates" over the years that need to be rectified Wink

That car has always been one of my favorites.  I like it with the aluminum wheels better than the BRM's though.

Looking at some of the Pictures Posted its on a later pan by looking at the rear upper shock mounts its a 61-65 I also Noticed its got the Old Race Shop Front End it was state of the art Back in its Day it allowed the front wheels to swing back a little when leaving the line and weight tranfer to the rear you could leave a little early and not red light ... Cool Car

hey Russell, now that you are have a nice selection to chose from, which would you say is your favourite gasser that you own, and why? Apart from the ones in the flat 4 collection and the other chap in japan (teddy?) are there any others that you know of - the frog guts one was up for sale a couple of years ago so it could be found?

For one that just looks mental, I reckon lil snort is the one, but I also like Blue obsession, just because I once saw it parked up at the paintbox when I went to see them, and loved it, and probably the stutt bee, because it is probably one of the definitive cars of the era.
