Marc just sent me some pics of his split window.  It's going to be a real project, but it's in the works.  Still has the window decals too!!

AWESOMENESS!!!

Those pictures tell a thousand words. If only they could tell us the stories that they're harboring. Thanks for posting those, Ed.

(edit) I had to go back and stare at the ones of the ¼ window and BRM... those are suitable for framing and computer wallpaper for the desktop.

Just to clarify, these pics are of Marc's red split, not of my old green split that's since been painted red.

WOW ! great news.

However, Please Please do not let him over restore the car to a show car keep it real as it was way back when, far too many cal look cars are just too good now and with this car it shouild be as was, i know for most americans this is diifficult as they prefer to redo cars to a very high standard, but as this is a time piece it would be worth trying to clean and repair Oh and polish thoses BRM's first before stripping and rebuilding.

From the pictures i would be leaving as is and just cleaning and touching up, as it still looks awesome.

Godd luck Marc.

That is so cool. Imagine driving past a house with the garage open and seeing a guy taking pictures of some dusty looker. There are so many others out there like this that we just dont know about. Thanks for posting the pictures Ed and thanks to Mark for taking them.

So what are the plans for the car?

I believe Marc's plan is to restore it to it's original style and glory...along with a 48IDA motor.  However, I'll let Marc confirm this.

Yes...I was thinking the same.  Marc must have changed the TL's.

I remember he had the car re-painted at one point years ago.  He probably changed the Tail Lights and Deck at that time.

Been thinking about this all day. Does he have the other BRM and I'm sure we would all love to see the interior and engine compartment too.
