Great Reverend!!
Bring over the doors and hoods Sunday and we'll bolt them to the body.
Now I've just got to find a trailer so I can take the car to the painter.................Scott doesn't get off work until 6 but maybe we can borrow his trailer and tow it over behind your truck?

You don't know how much I appreciate your help....................

I may have changed a few things but it has to be red. As of this minute, it will be Audi Brilliant Red........subject to change several times in the next week. Grin

Thanks Danny, I still have problems dealing with the car fame thing as there were tons of cars in 1975 that could have just as well been in that magazine article. Then I go to the Classic and there are a dozen split windows that are nicer than mine. That's probably why I don't post as much as I do. I think your car is much more interesting than mine.

He's probably going to kill me for posting this, but he's done with the body work on my car now, so............. Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I've gone through 2 divorces. These things are NOT fun and can be very expensive (probably why I'm still working......sigh).
My current (and last) wife is great! But I was in no hurry to get married again as I hope you can understand.
My best friend, Bob, and his wife seeing how well things were with Robin and I, kept asking me when we were going to get married.
Finally I admitted that I really couldn't see a reason to get married again and that the only way i was getting married again was if Elvis Presley performed the wedding (I should probably have used the "when pigs fly" statement but...................).

A week later, Bob goes on-line and becomes a minister and buys an Elvis costume!!!!!
[ Attachment: You are not allowed to view attachments ]
The wedding was a lot of fun, everyone got a CD with Elvis music, I even wore blue suede shoes and we all lived happily ever after.

And that is why people call him Reverend!

not sure right this minute, Zach, but I'll be sure to let you know.
If I do sell them, it will be with the 145s. I should have it figured out in a couple of weeks.

After a 30 year absence, (about), from the Bug In's ....look for the return of DRA in 2011.  Featuring the legendary Split Window of Marc Buehler in its newly restored condition, and the not so legendary, (but at least it's green), Karmann Ghia of Ed Craig.

There Marc...now it's semi offical  You have a schedule to keep.  ;-)

Sheeez, how many reds are there?
The car had the nickname of "The Tomatoe" at one time........maybe I'll just paint it plastic cup red!

It was good to meet you too!  Glad you found my car.  Sure looks glossy with a fresh coat of wax don't it?

Hey Zach, on the 2hr drive to the vintage show in Seattle today with my short geared Mexican Beetle, I was thinking about those 175SR15s, and how much I wish I could find a fresh pair.  Then while walking around the swap meet I saw a pair!  And they had some 145s to go with them.  Ding!  Hi Marc.  Smiley
