found this picture whilst surfing, and remembered an article in volksworld years ago.
loved it then and still love it!
just wondered where it is and what its doing!?!?

yes it was, sold it on to a V8 guy as the engine was needing some attention, after which i think it was sold to a collecter in Switzerland..... but not sure if this did happen

This car is a very important part in my VW life, it was my first gasser and my last V8 gasser, althought it was a great looking car it wasnt a VW at heart and too me thats a big thing, was glad to move it on however at the time we did think about putting the body on a VW pan !!!!  Grin

cool video (hello miss hurst!), but I don't think it's the same car (different lettering, wheels, and the chassis looks a little different, too)
but the car indeed resides in Switzerland now, in a car collection

as far as I know, they've got various race cars but no other VWs, maybe except for a formula Vee
