anybody deal with "strictly vw" engine builders

my buddy is looking for a long block and would like to here real input not hearsay, not rumors and inuendo, just the truth, good or bad

Are you talking about a business named "Strictly VW" (I've only heard of Strictly Foreign), or engine builders that strictly build VW engines??

They were once the same company but no longer. Mark Wolter moved up here to Grants Pass, Oregon about 18 years ago and kept the Strictly Foreign name. His former partner (Dean Chisler) changed to Strictly VW and stayed in Irwindale. I don't have any feedback on Strictly VW.

Ahh. Strictly Foreign did give me a killer deal on a set of EMPI slipper skirts & birals... that's all the info I can offer
