What about DCNLs?

I learnt about them in the bill fisher book, I just love their look (like miniature IDAs  ), but you don't see them mentioned very often, so did anyone ever use them back in the day?

I think those carbs were obsolete and out of production in 1971 (?). I think they were run on Maserati Ghibli V8 engines. I bet parts for them are impossible to come by, even 30 years ago. Like the DCNF that was used on Maser V8's after, the DCNL was designed to have throttle shaft axis oriented same as axles of car.
I was looking at a website yesterday, and looks like 40DCNF is still in production? Guess all those 365GTB Ferrari guys still buy carbs.

yep, they were used in Maserati V8s and Lancia V6s (the L stood for Lancia I think)

it seems they were still offered in the 1970 Empi catalog

i like them too and hope to have some more info as well. but indeed parts must be getting rare or hard to come by.
