Fred, if I remember correctly, I think your nickname came from your short fingers! I believe it was a McNew observation. As for your early car, I think it would have looked a little more like this. Jeffrey, you're absolutely correct. It was half that and I ate like a pig. Wow, I should have stuck with the ragtop... that orange DOES look rather nice. Good job, that's suitable for framing. And Steve, your acceptance into the club had nothing to do with your car, you just looked good in shorts! Whoa... now just a minute. We only had one girl in the club. (that I can remember) So if your above statement is true, did that make us all Adam & Steve? Eww. I prefer the Adam & Eve theory, thankyouverymuch.

I think I remember that there was at least one other girl in the club. Had a brown (maybe metallic) early car. She's parked in between Alex & Kevan in this picture.

Rick, I've had that VW Trends issue since they sent me a bunch of 'em after they did that article on our clubs. And to this day, I can't remember that girl's name/car or anything regarding another girl in the club. But then again... I'm an old fart, these days and just happy to be still surfing and skateboarding. Can't remember too much other than what I ate.

Ya I remember her not being active for too much longer after we joined. Just remember that the car was a 62-65 brown maybe metallic with chromies and caps. I also remember that she was fairly petite. Other than that nothing.

Carey is a guy Carey is hooked up with me on Face Book. He lives out at the river. Still into SPEED!! He absolutely is a GUY!! Fred, go and see if you can check out his boat. He's CRAZY!! I've been bugging him to come play with us. It sure would be fun if he ever showed his face : ) |
