HI,

I'm looking for VDO cockpit gauges- SPEEDO 80mm /TACHO 80mm /CYL HEAD TEMP 52mm /OILTEMP 52mm

I want the old style metal housing, made in germany gauges.

I'm trying to avoid those new vdo gauges that are all plastic housing, now that the company is owned by siemens !!.

Cheers for lookin' Gavin White

hey gav!
i found them myself after a long search and a wanted ad too. they do come up on ebay every now and then.
the plastic ones aren't that bad, i have a few plastic casings but they are stamped early eighties. perhaps that those have been rebuilt.

good luck on your search.

Cheers for info dudes

Thanx diedrick, you'r right those 80's vdo gauges are very good, its the latest design of vdo cockpit that i don't like.

I checked out VDO on wikapedia and they were owned by siemens since 2000 then bought by CONTINENTAL in 2007 for $15 BILLION!!

Thanx dave, pm sent.

Hi Lee "monkiboy" The car looks more falling apart than coming together there, even Mr Flemming is turning his back!!!
