Hi Mauro,

Did you not use a Fk87 last year?

I used the FK46 last year and quite frankly I found that cam a bit borring in a way. In my set up it did make power from around 2500 rpms and it was empty at around 6800. It "came on" at around 3500 rpms.
I changed to a FK89 last winter and I have not regret that change one second. Plenty of power down low and a REAL kick in the ass at around 4000 to above 7800 (where I have set my rpms limit on my MSD) Make`s me smile everytime   Smiley

last year.....yes it was similar to FK87, it was an Eagle from CB Performance.
Somewhere I had read that to pull out maximum HP in a motor like mine, the 87 is good and the 89 the best one.
BeetleBug seems to confirm this voice.
Now the C.R. is more high...12:1 and I think that I'll use the 89 if you don't change my ideas Grin Grin

i ran the 98 in my 2332 (drag moter only )14.1 comp 51s 46x38 tit 1.45 berg rockers. the car was all steel 67 1900 lb car ran 11.60 114.50 est power 240 fw hp. i like the 40ser cams thes days more of a ramp more grunt on the bottem and you dont have to run the higher comp to get the same result just make sure you have a good spring on it. i run the fk44 with 1.61 valve lift 6.55 k800 all on a street engine no problems.  yours truly ugly duckling.
