Hi Folks, wanted to share a funny pic with you: You shure all know the famous pic showing two of the bug prototypes (V 3/3 an W30) in front of the Porsche villa (back in 1936/1937). Today -nearly excact 70 years later- I took my car for a ride as the weather was pretty good-and I ended up at the Porsche villa which can still be found in the northern part of Stuttgart. The house was always kept in its original style, Ferry Porsche lived in it until he died a few years ago. Today the Porsche company uses it as a "guest house". I couldn´t resist taking an image of my car in the same position like the prototypes back in the days. Enjoy the result-I wished Ferry stepped out of the house in this moment  |

Nice pic gregor!! You have such a wicked looker, nice and shiny on a Sunday afternoon The house hasn't changed much apparently, apart from the higher surrounding wall, probably for privacy reasons. Cheers, Diederick |
