… Eventual winner Eric calabrese manged what I believe to be a new mph record with a final winning 170mph …

Only one way to put it, epic.   Shocked

… also Pat Mcdermott for his first 8,an 8.98@155mph in his VW turbo powered fiat 850 spyder …

That’s quite something too.  Cool

… "the steering wheel is on the wrong side" gets alittle old after the 20th person has mentioned it …

At least it didn’t almost fail tech for it only having a 3 point seat belt and no steering wheel, these guys were obviously on the ball for spotting the wheel all the way over there on the right, next to the fixed seat with harness and window net.

 Grin

… Why doesnt your car have wheelie bars or a parachute …

My guess is the Australians had them up by the swapmeet, right?   Tongue

Richie, a very big congratulations to you. The time spent developing your engine, chassis and transmission combination is paying off for you. Perhaps, you may enlighten us mere underlings with a detailed description of the parts used, including the technical specifications of the assembly (bearing clearance, engine and gearbox oil used, turbo specs, EFI details, fuel specs, boost level, intercooler or aftercooler used ...blah, blah, blah.....)?

Oh, BTW, when you gonna put that steering wheel on the CORRECT SIDE (not the right side) of the vehicle?  LOL  Grin Cheesy

Respectfully,

Hi Richie,

Most impressive times, you must be chuffed with that!!

I am in the process of getting an electronic boost controller for my motor but can't decide which to use. I'm getting mixed feed back on the Greddy Profec II unit and was interested to learn which unit you use?

Look forward to seeing you run your realistic targets Cool
