Hi cassa,

I think that CSP in germany should have the pumps in stock. But you could also send an email to my clubmate Helge who should have a nearly new Autocraft dry sump pump for sale: helge.ohmes@t-online.de
Bye,

I use the Peterson gerator pump on mine, found it much better than the Autocraft unit. The scavange is better and the internal regulator is spot on.

as for the Pauter unit, Russ is running one and has not had any problems with it at all, his has done 2000 - 3000 miles on it.

Sorry i sold my old autocraft pump a long time ago.

hope this helps

Thanks for the replys.
Going backwards to a Autocraft is not ideal.
But the Pauter pump has worked itself sideways 0,5mm on the pressure stage. This is due to bad engineering. The engine this is for har earlier had problems with this pump, this has been solved by Pauter.

Is the Peterson pump a VW bolt on pump, or have you used a generic pump and made it fit?

It looks like the problems will be solved.
T. Ø. Skinne bought the pump from Ola.
He also is in the prossess of redesigning the pressure stage of the Pauter pump he has. The pumps wear down the housing due to too high internat pressure in the pressure stage. He will do a "50% fix" on the pump he has now, and when he gets the pump from Ola, make a 100% fix with this pump.

Thanks again for the input and link!

The pleasure is all mine. Glad it worked out and please let the rest of us know more about the Pauter pumps and his modifications. Why is Skinne seeing these problems and nobody else? Lots of cars use these pumps with succes (as far as I know)

The pump works even if its worn, so maybe people think its ok, but have wear that they dont know of.
Skinne only use the pump to.... pump oil.  nothing fancy.
