Anyone know how " if possible " to set up a shift light for my VDO tacho ?
I don't know what hard ware I'll need , cant find any imfo on the net . A little help please
P.S I know it dont rev too high , Im looking for a higher one

Bosch Blue coil coupled up to a 010 dizzy . Tacho pics up on the nutral off the coil

Thanks for the link Bernie may go with that , want to try and get something that just leave's a shift light I can fit into one of my dash pods with the hardware hidden behind the dash .

i wanna do the same thing -- but i'm on a 6V circuit -- with a 6V VDO tach -- any ideas for that?

@ 49 rag, why not look at an autometer shift light with pill. Check their website, it is just the light and then a small yellow fuse like thing below, with the rpm you want it to flash depending on what "fuse" you use.
@ turtle, why not go 12 volt?
